Stranger Things

In Argentina, people often talk about “la grieta” (”the rift”), the nickname we’ve given to our deep political divide. The Stranger Things finale gave us a perfect angle, because it also revolves around sealing a rift, the one connected to the Upside Down.

So we developed a large-scale, multi-channel holiday campaign, supported by major media placements and well-known political figures, with one clear goal: this season, the only rift people argue about at the table is the one from the show.

It’s been years of strange things

For the rewatch face we also did a “mini-campaing”.
We’ve lived through years filled with truly strange moments, the kind that still feel hard to explain. That’s why Stranger Things has never felt more relatable for us argentinians, as the show has always turned the unusual into part of everyday life.

To invite fans back into that world, we created “Fueron años de cosas extrañas”, a rewatch campaign that revisited, through outdoor placements and a main film, the parallels between the bizarre events we experienced as a country and those from the series, reminding everyone just how close fiction felt to reality.

Also, a simple outdoor copy broke the internet.
