Ayrton Senna is a legend in Brazil, but also an icon in Formula 1.
His life was pure speed, on and off the track. For Netflix’s biopic, we wanted fans to feel Senna’s pace like never before. So we turned his record lap in Monaco—1:21.314—into the actual length of the campaign’s hero film.
“Senna’s Cut” wasn’t just a teaser, it was the fastest premiere ever: a full lap reimagined as a trailer, aired beyond Netflix and shared by F1 journalists, ex-drivers and fans worldwide. For the first time, people lived at Senna’s own rhythm, proving that some stories are too fast to be told in the usual way.
This idea won a Bronze Lion at Cannes, along with three other shortlists.
